Web Administrator & Digital Copywriter

This company is looking for another person to join their small yet busy marketing team to assist with managing and running their successful ecommerce websites. This role will include updating product images & copy on the site, taking into consideration web analytics to create keyword rich SEO copy, as well as managing the product portfolio online. Working alongside their external SEO and PPC agency to drive the success of the website you will be expected to optimise the website to achieve their business strategy and plans. As well as these key tasks you will help their customers with website queries and be the first port of call for account customers who wish to have their online accounts activated.

The role requires a person with previous experience of SEO, web analytics and copy writing skills who can write benefit focused, keyword rich copy that strengthens their current organic rankings. There will be opportunities within the department to develop further skills across the marketing mix for the right candidate.

They are looking for someone that wishes to take their career to the next stage and prove their competence in running a successful e-commerce website. The role is varied and offers opportunities to develop skills to the next level. You will have autonomy to help drive the strategy and work towards their business goals and objectives, as well as being involved with projects to update the website and the e-marketing mix.

The successful candidate will have the ability to use their initiative, work autonomously as well as with the team, and want to drive sales through this important channel to the business. You will enjoy writing copy and being challenged to increase their website viability and organic traffic.

Required Skills
- Past experience with website analytics
- Experience of optimising product copy and website content for SEO
- Ability to prepare reports and recommendations that will strategically improve the website's visibility in SE
- Ability to write engaging copy in the brand's tone of voice
- Confidence to engage with their customers over the phone
- Desire to grow the role and progress
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role, ideally B2B.
