Are you an experienced target driven fundraiser looking for a challenge to make a real difference? Do you want to feel that every pound raised is going to help change lives? This is the sort of person our client is looking for to bring in funds and raise awareness in the Central East counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire as part of their local campaign.

Regional Fundraising & Awareness Manager
Job Ref: NL15
Location: Central East counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire & Derbyshire
Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week

All funds generated in these counties will be restricted and will be used to buy essential equipment (such as wheelchairs, specialist buggies, beds etc) in these counties to help local children with disabilities. Our client guarantees that all of funds raised will go towards buying equipment to help local children and they are able to report to supporters on exactly how their support has changed a child’s life. Giving supporters the right to say how the funds they raise are spent, is one of the great strengths of this charity and they know it offers fundraisers the opportunity to show integrity and transparency, which is appreciated by all.

They need someone that has outstanding communication skills and who likes to be out and about meeting and talking to a variety people and supporters (individuals and groups). They need someone who can act to support these in the Central East region. They need someone who can crucially bring great skills to the team and who is able to bring in funds from working with volunteers, clubs and groups etc. On a day to day basis you will continue to build and grow relationships with existing donors/supporters and you will contact, engage and build new relationships that will support their fundraising target.

Our client is known for its integrity and transparency in fundraising, so they require a minimum 2:1 ROI in all of their income generation work. They have a great USP that supports this, in that they can offer the chance to donors to restrict 100% of their gift to help children get vital equipment. They can even restrict it to be spent in a county of their choice. They give super feedback about how supporter’s gifts have been spent. In fact about 80-90% of income comes in as restricted.

If you feel you have the essential (must have’s) requirements and can also demonstrate a significant number of points from the desired requirements (could have’s) shown, please apply.

Closing date for applications: 15th March 2017
