The Estimator Role is a new position within our clients company. They are looking for an energetic, ambitious and enthusiastic candidate to fill this key position within their commercial department.
They will possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver a high standard of works to tight deadlines, be commercially astute and an effective team player. The ideal candidate shall be able to demonstrate the following key attributes: -
??? To lead in all aspects of the estimating and tendering of new contracts
??? Manage and control new or revised contract documentation and issue to production team
??? Support the surveyors, Identifying and producing variations to contracts
??? Build and maintain relationships with clients commercial and technical teams
??? Formatting documents (Word and Excel) to conform to a corporate style
??? Procurement of sub-contractors
Hours of work: 41.5 hours a week, Monday ??? Thursday 08:30 ??? 17:00, Friday 07:30 ??? 16:00
Qualifications and Skills required:
HND/HNC in Construction or Civil Engineering or equivalent would be advantageous, GCSE Math, English and ICT grades ??? A to C. As well as being well organised, highly motivated and consistently willing to learn and self-develop, the successful candidate should have a strong desire to progress within the business. Driving licence is essential.
