The Academic Services department manages the University's Quality Framework. It operates as a centralised unit providing support for Academic Schools through key contacts for subject areas and reports to the University's Vice-Provost (Learning and Teaching Quality).
About the role
The Deputy Head of Quality is a new post that reflects growth across the University and development within Academic Services. The postholder will work with the Head of Quality on the development and implementation of policies, strategies and procedures relating to quality assurance and enhancement and have responsibility for line management of the team.
About you (requirements)
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in quality assurance and enhancement within the higher education sector. This will include currency in sector developments and an understanding of the implications of these developments for work at the University and within Academic Services. A supportive approach and ability to work collaboratively will be very important.
