TEST MANAGER / SOLUTION MANAGER, E. MIDLANDS (ENERGY INDUSTRY)
Job Type: Permanent
Location: East Midlands
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP36,000 + Benefits
A Test Manager / Solution Manager is required to joining a fast-growing Utility based in the East Midlands on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to have experience working in the UK Energy Industry and must have a strong background in testing as well as a solid understanding of how the Energy industry works in the UK with regards to regulation and compliance, billing, change of supply etc.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Must have experience working for a UK Energy Supplier
* Must have experience in testing, UAT, Functional Testing and Systems Readiness testing
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to work calmly under pressure
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Experience having worked as a Test Manager / Solution Manager for a UK Energy Supplier ideal
* Experience testing Utilities CRM / Billing systems massively advantageous
* Experience having delivered something tangible / delivering a project
Day to Day Role:
As Test Manager / Solution Manager, you will enjoy a varied role within a growing Utility which will include the regular liaison with a number of departments across the business. As well as keeping informed about changes to the regulatory framework which govern the industry, the key responsibilities of the Test Manager / Solution Manager will be to Lead Systems change within the business, develop change and business readiness plans, testing business systems and processes to identify compliance issues and inefficiencies, identifying areas of improvements for both systems and people processes, engaging a wide array of stakeholders to ensure that best practice is shared and changes to regulation are rolled out across the wider business.
