Key Responsibilities

*Direct contribution to Business Change and process improvements within operations and engineering
*Problem solving current and future Engineering operations
*Implementation and Project Management of operational improvements
*Root cause analysis
*Sustainability initiatives
*Developing 'excellence' tools
*Cost saving and efficiency initiatives

Person Specification

*A relevant university degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g. Metallurgy, Materials Science, Manufacturing, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) 2:1 or higher
*Excellent study results
*Previous experience gained in a manufacturing environment (this can be as part of a degree course, as an intern or work experience)
*Organisational experience (this can be from study groups, spots clubs, active membership of extracurricular clubs or societies, etc.)
*Strong Project Management and prioritisation skills
*Excellent communication and social skills
*Ability to work within and contribute to a team
*Ambitious and driven by results
*Highly motivated to achieve
*Enthusiastic, energetic and innovative in your approach to engineering
*Flexible and dynamic person who thrives on developing new ideas and improvement opportunities
