This is a fantastic opportunity for a Land Manager to work for one of the UK's market leaders in New Build Housing Solutions and Community Regeneration.
Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the role is to identify and secure land opportunities for the regional business to facilitate delivery of the growth plans.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify, assess, pursue and progress potential land and partnership opportunities suitable for the business.
* Lead and supervise, where appointed, bid submissions
* Legal agreement negotiations on projects
* Negotiate land values with the involvement of the Land & Partnerships Director
* Develop relationships with partner organisations and other companies to advance scheme progress and explore additional opportunities.
* Preparation and production of regular updates and reports as required by Land & Partnerships Director
What we are looking for:
* Excellent verbal and written communicator.
* Financial and commercial acumen.
* Able to influence decision makers and have strong negotiating skills.
* Able to manage effectively across functional teams.
* Able to multi skill and have good time management skills.
* Motivated and enthusiastic.
* Team commitment.
* Current and Valid UK driving licence
* Candidates with a Housing Association or Council background will be well received.
