An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual to take up this exciting position, working for a small, successful and long established manufacturer of ventilation products for the commercial, industrial, leisure, health and marine sectors.
The role of Design Engineer comes with highly varied responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the production of general arrangement and manufacturing drawings of their bespoke ventilation products
- To be involved with new product development and design
- To be involved with goods inspection, quality control and liaising with customers and suppliers
Suitable candidates for this position should:
- Have good working knowledge of Solidworks or similar CAD package.
- Show good engineering ability with an eye for detail and smart design.
- Be proficient in both maths and written English
- Have a record of successful performance in a similar role
Hours: 39 hours per week
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays per year
Start: ASAP
