Location: South West area
Salary: ??30,000.00- ??45,000.00 per annum
Our client supplies and installs a range of finishes using render and cladding systems, for both refurbishment and new build properties within the South West region including Portsmouth, Bristol up to South Wales.
Due to our clients successful growth they are currently recruiting for a Fa??ades Cladding Manager to work remotely in the South West Region. The main purpose of the role will be to run the operations of rain-screen and EWI cladding, to provide managerial and technical support to estimating function. You would be expected to complete the below duties:
The Duties:
- To develop and grow the companies presence in the rain screen and fa??ades market in the South West region up to and including Portsmouth, Oxford and the South Wales
- To manage the installation of cladding systems including rainscreen, G Brick and EWI
- Develop and maintain good relations with main material and system suppliers, designer and installers
- Offer advice and assistance for pre contract planning and estimating
- Fully assess any fa??ades and cladding tender enquiries and be actively involved in tendering and the risk management process, advising on alternatives where appropriate
- Assess details in terms of build-ability and that they are correct for the proposed system
- Be aware of any Health and Safety issues relating to cladding activities and to advise the contacts team accordingly.
- Offer advice and assistance for the pre-contract planning and estimating
- Compile method statements, quality plans, risk assessments and contact programmes
- Oversee and ensure that the quality of workmanship, including implementation of quality plans setting out and the correct installation and setting out the specific cladding system
- Ensure health and safety procedures and regulations are followed and enforced
- Liaise with clients and their representatives
- Negotiating, engaging and controlling sub-contractors
