Our client is an independent co-educational school situated in breath-taking grounds in the world heritage city of Bath. Georgian and Gothic architecture sit side by side with state of the art accommodation, sport, leisure and educational facilities. Founded in the 18th century the school continues to follow the principles of it's Christian founder. Bursaries and development projects are financed via a charitable trust which relies on the generosity of a wide range of donors. An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with the creation of the post of Fundraising Director to develop, review and implement a strategic plan to foster relationships and increase engagement with new and existing donors to continue to allow students to thrive in a caring and supportive community.
Candidates should have significant experience of charitable fundraising and the capacity to produce and deliver a successful strategy. It is likely that the successful candidate will have gained experience in a similar role in the educational sector or broader not-for-profit
environment.
