HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
Location: Shepton Mallet
Salary: ??31'000 Basic + Overtime + Optional Callout
Contract: Full time and Permanent
My client, a large commercial vehicle dealership, is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic to join their purpose built workshop in the Shepton Mallet area.
The successful HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic will have;
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualifications in heavy vehicles or equivalent
- Experience working in a commercial environtment working on trucks or vans
- A professionally recognised apprenticeship
The main responsibilities of the HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic will be;
- General maintenance and repair
- MOT Preparation
- Diagnostics
- Preventive maintenance
The working hours of this role are a rotating shift pattern of (Apply online only) Monday to Friday / (Apply online only) Monday to Friday (Apply online only) Saturday (Overtime Rate)
There is also a callout rota available in order to maximise earning potential, with a realistic OTE of ??44'000 - ??46'000 when on the call out rota with some overtime.
