Web Developer - E-commerce Agency

This leading Shopify specialised agency is seeking a multi-talented people person who is comfortable with a day's web development and occasional project management, tweaking hosting environments and source control process management.

Strong candidates will feel at home with consulting, planning, delivering and deploying web applications in their preferred stack, but also capable of delivering smaller front-end tweaks and bug fixing tasks in HTML, CSS and Javascript.

You will be joining a specialised agency offering consultation, design, development and marketing campaign management to a broad range of demanding clients. The agency's current client list includes multiple national and international brands, local businesses and charities, and a host of smaller startups.

Previous commercial experience is advantageous but not essential as long as you are up for a challenge and willing to grow quickly. Support & mentoring is limited - self starters required. By the same token, flexibility to fit into existing development / project management methodologies is essential, but vision to define and drive adoption of new ones, where all see value in the long term, is sought after.

Key Requirements:
- The ability to develop and deploy web applications
- Delivery of functional responsive websites / fixes through HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience with large application databases
- Source control (GIT)

It'd be great if you have experience with:
- Working with API's and Shopify
- UNIX commands
- Building and scaling user-focused web applications
- Front end frameworks such as JQuery, Liquid, Bootstrap
