THE ROLE: HR Group Talent Development Facilitator (Learning & Development)- Cambridge

My client have a great opportunity for you to develop your interest, skills and expertise in learning and development by joining our Talent Development team, which sits in our newly formed Talent Team within the HR function. As the Talent Development Facilitator (Learning & Development) you will manage a portfolio of learning and development initiatives, activities and projects aligned to our 'Building a Culture of Learning' Strategy. The role will involve the design, delivery, commissioning and evaluation of learning initiatives across the Group. You will work in partnership with HR colleagues to support client group learning and development needs, whilst also establishing mechanisms to enable a range of learning opportunities

You will be an experienced Learning & Development practitioner and ideally will have a track record of establishing multi-faceted programmes of learning. In addition, you will have experience of implementing a range of learning opportunities including experiential learning, online learning and face to face learning. You will understand best practice usage of psychometrics in a developmental context.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build lasting relationships quickly. You will have strong facilitation and presentation skills, planning and project management skills and be a committed team player. Finally, you will share our values which are woven into everything we do.

Key Responsibilities to include: - HR Group Talent Development Facilitator (Learning & Development)- Cambridge
  • Manage a portfolio of learning and development initiatives and activities (including the design, delivery and evaluation of) aligned to The 'Building a Culture of Learning' Strategy
  • Partner with HR colleagues and stakeholders in the Business to support client group learning and development needs
  • Lead team development sessions across the Group, utilising psychometrics when relevant
  • Create opportunities for accessible learning for colleagues based internationally, including virtual learning
  • Support induction and on boarding activities for new starters
  • Manage a portfolio of established leadership and management development initiatives for different levels of management in the organisation
Key experience for the role: HR Group Talent Development Facilitator (Learning & Development)- Cambridge
  • Minimum 5 years within an HR environment of which a minimum of 2 years has been spent within the learning and development specialism delivering soft & hard skills training
  • Degree level or equivalent L&D qualification
  • Highly developed relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in 1-on-1 & group situations
  • High competence in training delivery , both face to face and virtually
  • External networking skills
  • Good standard of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office products
