Medical Data Analyst
Surrey
Up to £65,000
Working closely with the Head of Data Analytics you will be responsible for maintaining and analysing the various medical data in order to facilitate evidence based medical underwriting.
You will always ensure excellent documentation of company medical data
Responsibilities:
* Ad hoc data quality reports and identifying areas of potential improvement
* Analyse data in line with agreed specifications
* Acquire, assemble and prepare medical and mortality data for analysis
* Identify appropriate statistical methods and software packages and produce specifications for analysis
Required experience:
* Excellent analysis and resolution skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear manner
* Advanced data base query skills and highly developed analytical skills
* Skilled in the manipulation of large datasets
* Keen eye for detail
* A relevant first degree or Masters in a statistical science or mathematical discipline
* Experience using SAS, Stata, R, VBA and SQL
* Experience in the acquisition and analysis of data in a medical or healthcare environment
