Marketing Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join The Bidfresh Group based in London.

The Bidfresh Group is a principal British supplier of fresh fish, meat and produce to the catering industry; a national supplier with strong local heritage. The spectrum of our client base reaches from small independents to large national accounts.

We are looking to recruit a Marketing Assistant with an eye for design and experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Particularly InDesign and Photoshop) to create graphic design for print and online material to a high standard.

An ideal Marketing Assistant will have the following skills and qualifications:

• The role will require you to be multi-faceted, so you should be an individual with a broad knowledge of the Marketing industry and a keen interest in food. Film and photography capturing and editing is a key component of the role and so a work history or proven interest of these areas is advantageous.
• Written communication and copywriting skills are imperative for the role as you will be expected to produce content for various media channels, so a strong understanding of the English Language is key. As a Marketing Assistant, you will also focus heavily on maintaining the various company websites and creating copy in order to update them regularly. Experience of using content management systems and SEO skills are therefore important.
• You must also be fluent in Social Media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, be able to research independently and present your findings and work well under strict time commitments.
• This is a fast paced role where you may be working on many projects at any one time, therefore it is vital you are able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.  The ideal candidate should be comfortable working autonomously but take direction when required.

Driving licence preferable but not essential, with use of own vehicle.

Your working hours will be Monday-Friday (average 40 hours per week)

Holidays: 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

In return for this you will receive a salary in region of £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
