Business Manager for GP Partnership at Harptree Surgery BS40 6HF

£42.900 per annum pro rata

30 hours per week over 4 days

The Partnership of this friendly forward thinking General Practice in the beautiful Chew Valley is seeking a Business Manager.

Building upon our established success, we are looking for a person with the skill set required to lead as well as manage the business into a secure and prosperous future.

You will be joining a team working to high standards of clinical care for a satisfied and appreciative patient population of 6700. We operate from two sites, both with an easy commute of 20-30mins from Bristol and Bath where most of our clinicians live.

We have a 7 GP workforce of 3 Partners, 4 Associate GPs and a GP Trainee working within a friendly and committed practice team of 30 personnel.

We are looking to appoint a candidate who shares our ethos of high standards, who sees the value in what we have built so far and who will be able to seize the opportunities ahead for our practice in a dynamic and challenging NHS environment.

Innovation, strategic thinking and engagement will be required of you as we evolve for the future and drive the business for the benefit of its patients and staff. You should be capable of challenging existing models and designing more productive and efficient methods of working.

We are looking for a natural leader with excellent communication, motivational skills, drive and innovative ideas to lead and develop the Practice team. You will be working with the 3 Partners, Finance Manager and Practice Administrator maintaining a global overview of the Practice and services.

This post requires both strategic and operational skills. Sound knowledge of Business

Management and Finance, IT and HR is essential. NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
