Digital Communications Officer
Salary: c£25,000 per annum, pro rata (13,333) plus contributory Pension
Location: Wrest Park, Silsoe, Bedfordshire (with frequent travel throughout Bedfordshire)
Contract: Fixed term until March 2020, part - time, 20 hours per week
Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire is the local consumer champion promoting choice and influencing the provision of high quality health, social care and wellbeing services for all across Central Bedfordshire.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, outgoing, highly motivated, Digital Communications Officer to develop and maintain high quality and effective digital communications to include supporting the delivery of the organisation's activities to promote the work of Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire. The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for all communication channels including website, social media, Newsletters, Ebulletins and other communication channels of Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire.
The successful candidate will need to have sufficient experience in developing and maintaining high quality and effective communication channels; working in or with the media, other marketing organisation's and their services plus demonstrable experience in website management including creating content and uploading information and producing communications materials in a variety of mediums with experience of managing and delivering an organisations Communications Strategy.
