Secretary/Advice Officer Position

The Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association (GPFA) is a membership based registered charity. Founded in 1926 the GPFA works to improve sports, play and recreational facilities and opportunities.

Our current Secretary/Advice Officer is stepping down and so we are seeking to appoint a new person.

This is a part time paid position on a freelance basis working from a home office for approximately 12 hours per week. The role is to perform all the administration tasks involved in running a small charity. Also the person will provide the advice service to our member organisations such as Parish and Town Councils, Sports Clubs etc to improve and maintain their facilities.

An interest in sport and play is essential plus good computer skills and able to use the Microsoft Office suite

This is an interesting and varied position in which you would be making a real difference in improving sports, play and recreation provision in the county.
