Farming Business Administrator
FARM BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR
A leading UK arable farming company based near Chelmsford, are looking to expand their head office team with a Farming Business Administrator.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team with the following main tasks:
- Responsibility for head office review function of 'Gatekeeper' IT programme which records all farm operations and stocks
- Monthly reconciliations of Gatekeeper to Sage 200 accounts programme
- Attendance at, and responsibility for, quarterly stocktakes at each farming unit
- Assistance with the preparation of orders for seeds, fertilisers and sprays
- Reconciliation of contract farming accounts
- Preparation of monthly management information
The Company is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who needs to be able to demonstrate attention to detail and have excellent numeric and reconciliation skills. Accounts and / or agricultural background and experience preferable.
Part-time role for 21-28 hours per week with flexible hours.
Salary and benefits negotiable depending on experience.
