The Job: Senior Civil Engineer
The Company
First People Solutions are currently recruiting for a global consulting engineer who specialise in building design. They are involved in a variety of sectors including education, rail, healthcare, retail, stadiums and energy buildings.
Due to growth and workload they require a Senior Civil Engineer to work in their Edinburgh infrastructure team.
The Job
This role will involve being part of the design team responsible for associated civils works of buildings projects such as access roads, drainage, car parks, SUDS and kerbing.
You will be involved in;
- Detailed civil engineering design
- Planning CAD packages of work
- Planning project delivery
- Co-ordinating with other members of project team
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this will be someone with extensive experience as a Civil Engineer within a consulting engineering environment.
You will be;
- A Chartered/Near Chartered Civil Engineer
- Experienced in civil design
- Able to provide guidance to junior team members
- Able to work independently and able to make design decisions
- Conversant in industry relevant software such as MicroDrainage, PDS and Civils 3D
