Employee Relations Manager - Plymouth

The company now need to recruit an Employee Relations Manager to be based at the Plymouth facility.

The role of Employee Relations Manager is a key post in the critical sphere of staff engagement and is absolutely central to the continued development of the company as an employer of choice.

The Role

Devise and implement the Employee Relations Strategy, including specific policies on Compensation and Benefits, Working Conditions, Attrition and Policy initiatives

Engage in Collective Negotiations and Consultations with Trade Unions, Workplace Representatives and other Stakeholders to reach accord this enabling strategic designs to be applied across the business

Manage conflict, disputes and workforce welfare concerns

Oversee change management projects with particular reference to Trade Union negotiation.

The Candidate

An understanding of the complexities of Union negotiation within a large and diverse workforce is an absolute pre-requisite.

A background in a Technical environment is extremely advantageous, this may be Manufacturing, Construction, Public Sector or Engineering

A track record of building collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels is, again, an absolute essential

CIPD accreditation is expected as is a comprehensive knowledge, in a practical sense, of Employment Law
