Materials Scheduler
Materials Scheduler; Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire; up to GBP27K
A local Construction sub-contractor with over 30 years' experience is recruiting. This organisation designs, manufactures and installs their products into a variety of commercial developments, working with leading main contractors including Balfour Beatty, Bovis and Seddon. The company is very busy and is currently expanding it's workforce and they are looking to appoint a Scheduler.
The role of the Scheduler will involve;
- Reviewing technical information / drawings to take off material requirements
- Ensuring all fitting positions on drawings are detailed correctly and conform with current building standards
- Ensure RFIs are followed up and actioned promptly
- Monitoring progress of orders to ensure timely delivery and liaising closely with applicable Manager
- Reviewing production log / dates and liaising closely with applicable Manager
- And producing information required by management team
Applicants should be able to read and interpret architects / designers drawings and have technical knowledge gained from a joinery / shop fitting or similar environment. Those applying should have the confidence / skills to be able to raise technical queries with clients and architects ensuring all issues are being challenged and should possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
