A fantastic Business Development position within this long established UK Company is now available. Selling a range of construction tools to a range of industries across the South West, this industry leader has been manufacturing tools for a number of years and are now looking to grow the company.

The Role:
Working as a BDM, you will be responsible drive new business opportunities by identifying prospects and analysing sales options. Working closely with technical departments and key decision makers within the construction industry, plus speaking directly to procurement managers and budget holders. Working in a South West territory, the new Business Development Manager will have the key responsibility of finding and closing new business from lead generation and cold calling to the future management of accounts.
The Candidate:
The new Business Development Manager should have experience in selling power tools, construction tools, or construction equipment directly to the end user, this could include construction, energy, oil and gas, or forestry. A passion of exceeding sales targets and an eye for new business opportunities within a competitive market. You will be an outgoing and determined individual who is self-motivated and confident. Driving new business is essential in this role and you should thrive on working within a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
The Package:
A basic salary of ??30,000 - ??35,000 is available for the right Business Development Manager with a lucrative commission structure of an uncapped OTE, on target earnings will be in excess of ??50,000pa.
