Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with this well respected charity in the recruitment of a Part-time Fundraising Co-ordinator.

Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager and working alongside teams, you will lead all volunteer activity across the Fundraising department, providing expert advice on the recruitment, motivation and retention of volunteers.

Key responsibilities include:

Work across disciplines in order to lead all volunteer activity in the fundraising team. This includes providing expert advice on volunteering to team members, recruiting appropriate numbers of volunteers for each event/activity and ensuring there is sound matching of volunteer skills and tasks required.

Champion fundraising volunteering internally and externally. Broadly this entails providing exceptional stewardship to all volunteers, and striving to deliver outstanding supporter experiences which encourage retention. Inducting and training volunteers, and record volunteering activity in line with policies and procedures.

Promote volunteer-led fundraising by building relationships at ground level (e.g. with universities, schools, volunteering organisations etc.), ensuring appropriate opportunities to support are secured and empowering supporters to lead on securing further opportunities. Confirm correct policies and procedures are in place and that volunteers abide by these.

Oversee the volunteer-led delivery of public fundraising collections and collection tin donations; practically supporting activity to maximise, grow and drive net income.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full UK driving licence and your own transport.
