Siemens UK are looking to recruit a Finance Analystbased in Frimley for the combined Corporate Core and Services portfolio North West Europe (NWE) including the Global Function Reporting. TheNWE Global Functions totalledEUR478' gross costs and 1,704 FTE in FY16, across18 Functions and 8 Countries.The succesful applicant will join the Siemens CF R Hub NWE Reporting & Controlling Team and take a key role in driving our vision of 'pushing the boundaries in analytics, benchmarking & transparency' through pursuingbest in classprocesses, robust tools and rigorous maintenance of master data.

What are my responsibilities?

- Ensure systems, processes, master data and tools are maintained and optimised to providesecure foundations for the successful and high quality reporting and controlling of the NWE Corporate Core & Services (inc. the Global Functions).
- This includes theBilling Database, Utility Bill Database, SAP & Esprit master data, reporting templates and tools plus various Sharepoints and other data sharing repositories.
- Maintain checks and controls to ensure the integrity of the Global Function reporting through all relevant versions of Esprit
- Provide standard reporting (gross cost, recovery, variance analysis, productivity) for Hub and Country Leadership, Heads of Functions and the Divisions as cost reciever, on actuals, forecast and budget
- Represent the 'Hub' as part of a 'centre of competence' for Global Function Reporting, acting as an expert on the 'Smart' tool and generally on the Global Function reporting requirements as set out in the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRGs) and Implementation Guidelines
- Coordinate timetables and data submissions and user trainingto enable succesful reporting routines
- Participate from time to time in process improvement initiatives outside of the department

What do I need to qualify for the role?

- Would suit a part qualified accountant with some experience in a controlling function
- Advanced in Excel and also ideally Access skills and being comfortable with developing own solutions.
- VBA knowledge would also be an advantage.
- Competent in a variety ofbusiness applications, ideally SAP & Esprit
- Must have meticulous attention to detail and be able to demonstrate tenacity in driving out inefficiency and error
