Principal Teachers are currently experiencing a high demand for Primary Teachers specialising in KS1 to work in our client schools in and around the Harrogate area. A range of daily and long term opportunities are available meaning we can cater to the needs of those seeking full time or part time work.

Perhaps you are looking for short term supply bookings to fit around other commitments giving a better work-life balance? Maybe you are looking for a long term or permanent job but would like the opportunity to visit new schools as a way of networking and finding out about new opportunities?

Our client schools wish to develop a supply of regular, local supply staff for replacement cover who get to know their school and can offer continuity for the children. If a school we introduce you to has a vacancy and you would like to apply then we will support and encourage you to do so. We will even help you prepare for your interview! Unlike other agencies we will not prohibit schools from offering you a contract - we will transfer you without any cost to the school once you have completed an initial period of supply.

We value all of our supply staff and you REALLY are a part of our team. We invest in your professional development by arranging relevant and up to date training, and dedicate time to gaining feedback not just from schools but also from our supply staff. We listen to your requirements and work hard to match these to the job opportunities that we have available. As a thank you for working with us we will even give you a paid day off on your birthday (provided you have worked regularly for us in the three previous months - full T&C's given during your registration meeting)

Applicants must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Previous experience of teaching in a primary KS1 setting in the UK
Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements
Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
A commitment to improving attainment for all children
