This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor within a leading Third Party Logistics (3PL) to become part of their team in an all-encompassing role.
Client Details
This business is a market leading 3PL who are going through a sustained period of growth and are looking to add experience to their transport management team.
Description
This Birmingham based Transport Supervisor role includes:
- Management of 45+ drivers
- Manual Planning of 45+ vehicles across varying classes
- Management of 3rd party Hauliers and relationships
- Budgetary responsibility
- Reports into Transport Manager
Profile
The successful Transport Supervisor will:
- Have 2+ years experience in management within a busy transport office
- Have 2+ years transport planning experience
- Have 2+ years experience within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry
- Have a strong personality and character to successfully manage a team of drivers
- Preferably be CPC qualified
Working Hours
You must be flexible to work all shift patterns (on average a 9-hour shift per day) which can vary from a 5 am start and up to an 8 pm finish.
Salary
GBP18k per annum up to GBP25k per annum dependent upon experience
