Nursery Manager

This successful day nursery is now looking to recruit someone to join the management team.

The nursery is set in a stunning rural location with extensive outside areas. Overall the nursery has 172 places over 8 rooms taking children from 0 to 5 years. They focus on ensuring every child has the opportunity to develop and grow while learning through play. They are currently developing a forest garden alongside their existing outside areas so that children can better experience learning in nature.

They are recruiting a manager to work with their existing management team. Reporting to the General Manager and Proprietor, this role will focus on management of either the rooms that look after children up to 2 years old OR the rooms with children aged 2-5, supporting the room heads in delivering high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for all children. Working with the management team to ensure the smooth running of this area, including rotas, training, site maintenance and record keeping.

As well as having extensive childcare experience (minimum 2 years at manager level and qualified to level 3 or equivalent) you will be a great organiser, have superb attention to detail and amazing people skills. You will be passionate about childcare and staff development, continually striving to make the nursery the very best it can be for its children, their parents and the staff.
