A fantastic new opportunity has become available for a Java Developer/Senior Software Developer to join a Genomics company. You will be working with a leading organisation within genomic research and will be part of a highly talented software development team.
Main responsibilities as a Java Developer/Senior Software Developer include:
*Gathering and implementing user requirements and furthering knowledge of robust web development and user interface design
*Discussing the impact of new features, working closely with Senior Developers, scientists and bioinformaticians
*Producing high-quality software in a timely manner and providing integrated software solutions that meet the needs of the company
The ideal Java Developer/Senior Software Developer should be/have:
*Educated at degree level in Computer Science of demonstrable experience of the same level
*At least 2 years' working experience in practical software development
*High level of proficiency with Java and Spring frameworks
*Good working knowledge of Java and web development (Java, Oracle, Spring, etc.)
*Experience with current software development tools and practice
*Excellent written and verbal English
