Site Technician
SITE TECHNICIAN
Due to recent expansion our client is looking to bring on board an extra Site Technician to join their team. The role will predominantly be based out of their Leicester offices however the role will require regular site visits within the UK, this can be up to 50% of the time and due to the nature of the work undertake some night and weekend work will need to be conducted.
THE PACKAGE
*Up to GBP30k per annum dependent upon experience

THE ROLE
The key elements of the role are as follows:
*Undertaking various structures and pavement tests such as Non Destructive Testing, Condition Inspection surveys, Investigations and various sampling techniques, working to UKAS standards
*Ensuring site sampling and testing is carried out to high standards of safety, quality and efficiency
*Ensuring adequate and proper records are kept and filed correctly to comply with our management systems
*Ensuring test equipment is checked, cleaned, calibrated and functioning properly
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this vacancy the ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
*Materials Testing and Civil Engineering experience is essential
*Full Driving License
*CSCS card would be advantageous
*Good oral, written and numeracy skills
*HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent))
*Computer literate
