McLelland Cheese Packing Limited, a subsidiary of Lactalis McLelland Group with a turnover in excess of GBP250m, is seeking a number of people to join the Production team in our state-of- the-art packing facility in Stranraer.
Due to increased business levels we are seeking to recruit Process Technicians for our site in Stranraer. The role will involve setting up and running processing equipment ensuring production and yield targets are met utilising plant and machinery and all other assets under your control efficiently.
The ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and be solutions / results oriented. Previous experience in operating a high speed packaging line gained within a food producer would be a distinct advantage but not essential. You should be able to understand spoken and written business English and be used to working with numerical information. You should also be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
This position is based on an average 40 hours per week, on a 24 hour annualised hours shift rota.
In return you will join a progressive and expanding group of companies with excellent career and personal development opportunities, a basic salary of circa GBP19,000 per annum depending on experience, plus additional 25% nightshift allowance, bank holiday payments, bonus and 34 days holiday per year.
