Imexpart Ltd, one of the largest and most respected independent Truck & Bus Parts Specialists in the UK are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their expanding team in Castleford, West Yorkshire. To assist with all operational aspects of the warehouse at Castleford, ensuring that orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and efficiently.This position is offered on a 3-shift rota pattern (6am - 2pm, 10am - 6pm and 2pm - 10pm). Staff are required to work one Saturday in three - 8.30 am to 11.30 am.As a Warehouse Supervisor you would:
Be a first point of contact to warehouse staff on all day to day warehouse issues including the organisation of workloads in all areas.Organise continuity in all key areas in the absence of staff, planned and unplanned.Liaise with other departments regarding supplier orders, delivery dates, discrepancies, stocking issues and products.Complete all company administration/forms speedily and efficient according to company guidelines.Ensure that the Returns procedures are adhered to and that goods are processed quickly and accurately including old units, general returns and warranty claims.Ensure that the Despatch system is adhered to, ensuring that all consignments are despatched on time and in good condition according to company procedures.Ensure that the Goods-In process is managed to achieve maximum performance in relation to goods away, stock availability and customer orders.Make efficient use of space by adopting a strategic approach to stock locations. Dispose of surplus stock, including rejected warranty claims and old units regularly.Carry out stock maintenance as required through general housekeeping and reporting procedures. Ensuring stock bins and locations are current, clear and fit for purpose. Ensure perpetual and annual stock counts are undertaken.Investigate and deal with Picking Errors.
