GBP19,875 - GBP21,798 per annum plus GBP955 essential car users allowance
East Sussex (Hastings and Eastbourne)
We currently have a vacancy to work in partnership with Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) to support their service users during their community orders or licences to retain, access and sustain suitable housing, which in turn will reduce their likelihood of reoffending.
The main tasks of the role are:
Source accommodation via a range of housing options including private landlords and supported housing providers; building and maintaining professional working relationships with all accommodation providers.
To provide a flexible and responsive service to landlords and service users throughout the lettings process.
To manage a fluctuating caseload of service users and support service users effectively to deliver positive outcomes.
To work in collaboration with Kent, Surrey and Sussex's CRC's community and custody teams, integrating the service including working out of custody settings (Her Majesty's Prison Lewes/Ford) and community hubs. This post is co-located within the Eastbourne and Hastings Kent, Surrey and Sussex's CRC's Probation offices.
Please note that due to the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) vetting process there may be restrictions for this job if you have a criminal record.
This post requires you to be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.
