Electronic Security Engineer wanted to join our client’s specialist electronic security team. Ideally you will be a multi-skilled engineer with knowledge of intruder/CCTV/access, however this is not essential, as long as you are a specialist in one of the disciplines. We are committed to training and really value staff progression through training.

The successful applicant will be joining our client’s special projects team installing analytic remote monitored CCTV systems, in solar farms, large construction sites and commercial applications. There is an element of service, call out and fault investigation but this is not the main focus of the role.

Our client is one of the rare success stories in the security industry and now in its 11th year has grown year on year. Initially they only provided security services for vacant properties for commercial property owners across the country. In 2010 building on the previous experience of the Managing Director in the electronic security industry, they launched our special projects department, specialising in commercial electronic security systems and integrated solutions. Now as a result of demand we are searching for a specialist engineer to join our team.

We expect the successful applicant to be at the top of his/her game, the remuneration for this role reflects this, we are offering a basic of £26 - £30K per annum, plus bonus, call out and overtime, we expect the OTE to be between £30 - £35K per annum. The role also includes a fully equipped vehicle, tech package including laptop, tablet and smart phone. There is a wellness bonus worth £450 pa, full medical insurance after the qualifying period and of course 28 days’ holiday.

There is an element of stay away with this role, dependant on the geographical location of the project; in compensation we provide overnight hotel accommodation, including breakfast and a stay away bonus. Out of hours’ assistance is part of this role but due to the nature of the projects we undertake the level of out of hours’ assistance is quite low, the rota is flexible, the stand-by bonus is worth a minimum of £1K pa plus overtime as worked.

If you want to join a forward thinking company, that allocates “time” to ensure that project quality is not compromised and feel that you have the necessary attributes to join the team, we look forward to hearing from you.
