Electrical Design Draughtsman - Burton upon Trent
GBP15 to GBP17 per hour Ltd/Umbrella
4-6 months' contract (Potential for long term extension)
To start immediately!
This business designs and manufactures a variety of special purpose machinery predominately to the power generation sector. They work with globally recognised clients all across the world and are an ever growing company and have produced huge turnovers this year. They are now looking to hire an Electrical Design Draughtsman for an immediate start.
The Electrical Design Draughtsman will be responsible for the following:
- Working from customer specifications and historical documents you will be designing containers for diagnostics on generators.
- Using AutoCAD 2D you will be designing new concepts, modifying existing drawings which will include control panel layouts, fans and copper work.
- You will also be exporting parts into excel, modifying them slightly and exporting them into the ERP system as the Bill of materials.
- Thereafter you will be completing and checking the resulting schematics, loop diagrams, single line diagrams before they will be passed over to production.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experience in Electrical design and AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in completion of schematics, loop diagrams, control panel layouts.
- Hardworking and a good communicator.
