Senior Architect
Senior Architect required for a well established practice based in Basingstoke. The project architect will be working for a company that specialise in the design and delivery of a variety or projects, mainly high end residential, Commercial and Education, and who have the capacity to adjust to all types of project values. The successful Senior Architect will be based from my clients offices in Windsor. This company is really growing so is an exciting opportunity for a SeniorArchitect with over 5 years experience.
The Senior Architect will have a real responsibility and exciting opportunity from the start, with the Senior Architect working on a range of projects throughout the UK managing medium-large sized projects with minimal Director supervision as well as manage numerous small projects. Our client is expecting the Senior Architect to be degree qualified in Architecture and be RIBA / ARB registered. They will also be proficient in AutoCAD/Revit, and have the ability to run projects from start to finish.
Senior Architect Position Overview
- Extensive experience of starting up projects from beginning and control meticulously detailed drawing packages.
- Knowledge of running jobs with a contract value of up to 50m.
- Can work within budget.
- Experience on site to work closely with contractors to guarantee high level finishes.
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and British Standards.
- Ability to run NBS specifications.
- Knowledge of planning applications and listed building applications favourable.
- Prove a thorough understanding of all applicable codes of practice, legal requirements and relevant technical advances in the industry.
- Sow your continuing professional development (CPD) and an annual Personal Development Plan (PDP) in accordance with the requirements of the RIBA (or equivalent)
Senior Architect Position Requirements
- 5 year's post Part 3 experience (majority in the UK) and experience working in Education sector preferable
- Strong AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Modelling software
- Knowledge of BIM would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in the Residential and Education design sector
- Live within 1 hours commute of Basingstoke or be willing to relocate

- Salary GBP45K-GBP55K (DOE)
- Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm.
