Sue Ross Legal are currently recruiting for a Part-time Legal Secretary to join the Personal Injury division of our client, a well-known regional Firm of Solicitors, based in their Sheffield office. This is a job share, with the available hours being Monday and Tuesday 9am - 5pm, although during holidays the successful candidate will be expected to cover a full-time working week.
Duties will include:
* Document production
* Collating information for Court documents
* Diary management
* Telephone contact with clients
The ideal candidate will have Legal Secretarial experience gained within a Solicitor's practice and ideally will have experience working as a Legal Secretary within PI or, alternatively, Clinical Negligence or Litigation.
Typing speeds of at least 60wpm, the ability to prioritise a busy workload within a pressurised working environment and the ability to draft non-legal correspondence are all desirable attributes. Candidates with experience using Microsoft Office, Aim Evolution accounting package, OMS document management and BigHand digital dictation would be preferred.
