R&D Engineer (Quality & Process)

Monday-Friday, Days, 40 hours per week

Our R&D Department are seeking a R&D Engineer (Quality & Process) to work within our factory in Burton upon Trent.  The main purpose of the role is to carry out control tests including monitoring and reporting data.

Working in our traditional factory, our successful candidate will assist in the resolution of processing issues faced when producing rubber compound and textile fabric. Together with other members of the R&D team, you will assist in the industrialization of new materials used in fabrics and compounds.

Priding ourselves on producing quality tyres, you will work closely with our Quality department to ensure every aspect of our production of compound and fabric is of the required standard.

We are looking for a resilient individual who is an approachable character, being self-motivated and enthusiastic.  Good communication skills are essential as is previous experience working in a production environment.  As monitoring and reporting data is a key aspect of this role, the successful candidate will need to be PC literate. This role is a sound first step as an engineer in a R&D department.
