They currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to join them at their site in Westwood, Peterborough to provide support to the Site Quality Assurance Manage and Supervisor to ensure the effectiveness of our Quality Assurance systems in line with the needs of the business.

Evaluating production, you will carry out hygiene audits, discussing results with producing and arranging necessary corrective actions, whist ensuring the Management System is updated within a timely manner, in line with manufacturing. Liaising with colleagues from all areas of the factory to ensure efficient resolution of QA issues, you will also be responsible for looking for areas where the QA systems can be improved and made more efficient.

Candidates for this role will be educated to HND or equivalent with proven QA experience within a food-manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have a good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and HACCP, this is desirable, however is not essential. With excellent communications skills, you will have the ability to use your own initiative, managing personal workload.
