JOB TITLE: Care Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS:
• Pay Rate between GBP8.50 and GBP17.00 per hour (depending on location)
• Full Contract of Employment including guaranteed hours available for total job security.
• Traditional Care Worker Service Agreements available for more flexibility if preferred.

THE COMPANY: Our client provides home care provision in over 70 UK regions. We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Worthing and Chichester, West Sussex. The desire to raise care standards and improve access to attentive, considerate care at home on a much larger scale led in 2005 to the launch of the franchise network. Since then, the company has steadily expanded throughout the UK, Ireland, and Malta.
THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Care Assistant. Our client is looking for applicants that want to step into a new career or experienced Care Assistants. You'll travel around the community assisting with the service user in their own home.
Our client can offer the job security with a full employment contract and guaranteed hours, or the flexibility of a traditional Care Worker Agreement and flexible hours or bank work. You can choose a contract to suit your needs.
You will be travelling to care for all our clients in their own homes in and around the Worthing, Shoreham, Arun and Chichester, West Sussex areas.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Assistant to include:-
• Help with getting up and/or going to bed
• Assisting with medication
• Help with preparing, serving or giving meals
• Domestic duties
• Shopping
• Sitting or companionship visits
• Attending to personal hygiene needs
THE CANDIDATE: Experience is not essential for this position of a Care Assistant, instead our client is looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality and someone who is reliable and can be relied upon to support the service user in their home in a very rewarding capacity. Our client is looking for someone that can always work in the best interests of the service user.
Key experience essential for the role of a Care Assistant:
Essential criteria:
• You will possess the most caring nature and have a strong desire to help others.
• You will possess good communication skills and a positive spirit.
• You will be prepared to help people with all aspects of their personal care and support.
• We are only interested in the most reliable Care Assistants. You must possess a full driving licence and have suitable transport.
