Learning Support Technician in Carpentry and Brickwork
37 Hours per Week
GBP20,156.32 - GBP22,085.48 per annum
We require a skilled Learning Support Technician to ensure equipment and resources are available to support learning within the Construction Trades department.
Key roles include:
- Demonstrating the use of equipment, materials and repair techniques
- Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and dismantling of models when complete
- Providing technical support to students
- Ensuring the health & safety of students in the use of equipment and materials
With your relevant industry experience, you will advise on modifications to existing equipment as required. Monitoring stock levels and recommending replacements will call upon your ability to work independently and prioritise your workload.
You will hold a relevant NVQ Level 2 (or above).
You must also hold Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths or the commitment to gaining within 24 months of commencement.
