Office Support Administrator

Salary: from GBP15,380 + benefits (28 days holiday + bank holiday, pension, flexi benefits)

Our client is the largest mutual life, pensions and Investment Company in the UK, with group funds under management of GBP86.3 billion.

They have an exciting opportunity for an Office Support Administrator to join the Customer Services Team based in Wilmslow.

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Mail Services Team in Wilmslow by dealing with customers via email and written correspondence in response to their mail and electronic communications. This will involve dealing with the customer enquiry mail boxes and internal departments.

The Mail Services department is going through a period of rapid change, due to new continuous improvement processes and therefore we are looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about this new department.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that customer documents containing customer information are scanned correctly and that these can be viewed by the Servicing Teams
  • Inspect, verify & scan original client documentation for the servicing areas and return originals directly to the customer
  • Responsible for indexing customer queries and allocating these queries to the appropriate teams via our PC package.
  • Deal with all internal and external unallocated mail and ensure mail is redirected as required
  • Manual Fulfilment of customer communications and customer statements to ensure all our bulk mailings and associated tasks are completed accurately and within time-scales
  • Ensure all filing is completed, including offsite file retrieval and returns
  • Responsible for placing orders, checking orders received and monitoring stock levels so that the area has the necessary stationery online

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Accurate data entry skills and PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and in house packages
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with a good level of reading skills and understanding of written English
  • Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Work on own initiative and be able to multi task.
