We currently have exciting permanent opportunities for experienced Customer Service Consultants to join our Pensions team in Edinburgh.

As a Customer Service Consultant, you will have the opportunity to join a range of teams across the organisation with the responsibility of ensuring that a professional service is provided to both clients and colleagues at all times.

We are looking for customer focused candidates with Pensions experience who combine strong customer handling and administration skills with a positive approach and a desire to achieve results. Experience of Auto enrolment is a real advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent customer service to both colleagues and customers at all times
  • Fully support colleagues, in particular Customer Service & Sales, working together to deliver what the business & customer needs
  • Establish pension scheme set up requirements, uploading and activating them on the system
  • Collate and check required documentation/information, adhering to data protection and legislative requirements

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Customer Service experience in a Financial Services environment is essential
  • Knowledge of group pensions legislation is also essential, with auto enrolment experience a real advantage
  • Experience of dealing with financial services professionals is desirable
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide complex or technical information in a manner which is readily understood
  • PC literate, including MS Excel
  • Passionate about the customer experience
  • Ability to manage a variable pipeline of activity
