About us
Bath Spa Institute for Education is a place where Bath Spa Teachers, classroom teachers, education practitioners, academics, and everyone interested in education come together in a community of research and practice.
We know a lot about education at Bath Spa because we have been educating teachers and other education professionals since the 1940s. Our educationalists and teachers work in classroom settings across the world, providing the highest quality teaching and research to children and young people. Our research is focused on making a real difference, practical, applied and led by schools and teachers. We are using the latest technologies to create our Institute for Education, bringing together practitioners, educationalists, classroom teachers, governors with leading edge researchers to look at what really works in schools.
About the role
You will work with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff and external partners, to provide high quality administrative support to the Institute for Education. You will be based in the Partnership Office and your duties will include supporting the Partnership team in the administration of the PGCE, EYITT and undergraduate student placements.
About you
First and foremost we'll look for strong administrative experience, a sound understanding of all Microsoft applications and evidence of the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You'll also need an eye for detail, an organised approach and the ability to communicate with everyone from potential students through to external agencies.
Bright, confident, flexible and resilient, you will be committed to achieving high standards, have experience of managing electronic data, working closely in a team environment and you will be an excellent communicator.
