Position: Bilingual Communications Officer, Wales
Location: Cardiff
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary: GBP20,157.45 - GBP22,755.53 per annum

About the role:
Stroke Association are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join our Influencing and Communications team and help improve the lives of people affected by stroke in Wales.
You will raise awareness of stroke and of the work of the Stroke Association in Wales, enabling the voice of people affected by stroke to be represented across the media.
Through your excellent communications and media skills you will support service delivery, campaigning and community development. You will also work closely with our Fundraising teams promoting our community activity to grow public support for the Stroke Association's cause and work.
About you:
The applicant will have to demonstrate an understanding of and empathy with, the impact and challenges faced by stroke survivors, their families and carers.
You will have sound organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and command a professional knowledge of conventional and social media.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this role.
You may have experience of the following: Communications Officer, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Policy Officer, Marketing Officer, Not For Profit, Public Affairs, Communications Officer, Information Resources, Databases, Customer Services, Public Sector, Information Worker, etc.
