Technologist - North Northampton - Food Processing / Manufacturing
My client are a growing food manufacturing company based North of Northampton and are looking for a Food Manufacturing Technologist ideally with a degree in agriculture or food science to join their team.
The successful Technologist will report to the Group Technical Manager and will be involved in writing new product specifications and liaising with suppliers.
The role of the Technologist:
- Writing of new product specifications and writing of deport specifications.
- Maintain a relationship with suppliers and customers.
- Amend and update existing product specifications.
- Participate in managing technical aspects of new product development.
- Research relevant technical information and report as necessary.
- Manage the technical aspects of customer sustainability requirements.
Requirements for the Technologist:
- Ideally hold a degree in an agricultural or a food science.
- Experience within an FMCG environment (food processing / manufacturing), preferably with fruit based products.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
Package for the Technologist:
- Salary depending on experience - GBP30,000 - GBP40,000.
- Pension scheme.
