Junior Designer

Can you inspire people to stand up for woods and trees? The Woodland Trust is the UK's largest woodland conservation charity with a vision of a UK rich in native woods and trees, enjoyed and valued by everyone. Protecting, restoring and creating woodland is at the heart of what we do - but we can't achieve this alone, we need people to come with us.

We're growing and we're looking for a talented, creative Junior Designer who can spark a connection between people and trees. No two days will be the same! You will work in our busy in-house studio across all aspects of design to create assets for the Woodland Trust that engage our supporters.

You'll assist the other designers but you will be expected to get to work on your own projects and come up with plenty of ideas as well. In return we can help you springboard your development through working with experienced mentors and colleagues on national multi-channel campaigns.

We're a tight-knit, successful team and we recognise and value our people. You'll have our full support, training and opportunities for professional development, along with a contributory pension, life assurance and good holiday entitlement.

To be successful in your application you may have just started your design career and be looking to take the next step or be looking for a role in the charity sector working on a diverse portfolio of design work.

Ideally you will have worked in a similar role or possess a relevant qualification. You'll be passionate about good ideas and creative development. An appetite for the environment and eagerness to learn will also help whilst working in a fast-paced design team.

In return we recognise and value our people. You'll have our full support, training and opportunities for professional development, along with a contributory pension, life assurance and good holiday entitlement
