Quality Assurance Manager - South West
Salary ??40,000 - ??50,000 (DOE) + Benefits
A Quality Assurance Manager is required for this internationally recognised consumer goods business. With ambitious growth plans they are now attracting orders from the Automotive industry and are looking to further enhance and improve the quality function of the business.Ideally you will have significant experience as a Quality professional gained within the automotive sector. This role will also act as a catalyst for change and you will work with the management team to introduce quality procedures including FMEA, APQP, PPAP and SPC. A thorough knowledge of ISO900 and TS16949 will be required.
To be considered for this Quality Assurance Manager position you must have
- A strong manufacturing background gained in the automotive or general engineering sector
- A recognised quality or manufacturing qualification to HND or degree level
- A minimum of 5 years working in a senior quality engineer or quality management position
- A strong understanding of process control and advanced quality planning tools and techniques
This will be an extremely interesting role and would ideally suit either a quality engineer looking for progression or a quality manager looking to take on a more expansive change management transformation role. In either case you will have gone through a new product introduction cycle and understand the full range of quality tools required to meet stringent automotive quality standards.
