As the cheekiest baby brand in the known universe, with a booming customer base, our client are spreading wings and expanding at -wowee- speed. The search is afoot for an experienced Senior Product Engineer with a results oriented approach; a passionate product guru, dedicated to the -Above and Beyond- performance and compliance of every single product that goes out of the door!
Current product engineering experience within the nursery/baby sector would be a -nice to have- but not essential.
Very important stuff you would be doing
Working directly with the gang to help bring brand new projects to market on time
Completing engineering assessments for all new product opportunities and making direct recommendations to the business
Managing tooling projects from start to finish, keeping them on time and within budget
Keeping an eye on all products in the market and finding -single touch- engineering solutions for any problem that needs fixing
Working on continual product improvement projects to keep us ahead of the game
Very important stuff about you:
Experience of conducting detailed product FMEAs
Experience of developing products from a wide range of starting points
Experience of working with China and communicating with factory proprietors and engineers
Confidence to present strong engineering case studies to senior management
The new recruit will be joining a dynamic bunch of folk, representing the business in factories across China and reporting to the Big Cheeses! The passport will certainly be getting a few new stamps that's for sure...
