Salary: £32,164 - £35,093 per annum

Job Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Council's commercial management team.

The council is looking to develop a new branded catering business that will deliver a high quality product with a personality led service style. The brand will be market resilient but will represent value for money and will remain highly competitive.

All the council's existing catering outlets will be subject to a period of change and improvement. New business opportunities will also be undertaken representing significant portfolio growth.

At the same time the brand identity will be developed and honed. They are looking for a highly experienced and positive professional that has a 'can do' approach to the way that they perform.

The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to lead and shape a new branded catering service, which will focus upon customer satisfaction, standards and profitability.

Although the council's commercial service function is relatively new and not yet widely recognised, this area of council business will rapidly become one of the most important.

Success here will ensure that other essential council services will remain adequately resourced, thereby continuing to provide a quality service to the people of Chesterfield Borough.
